Use My chat for private notes and Sidekick questions
On this page
Open My chat
- Open Chat.
- Select My chat for your private space, or Team for shared clinic channels.
- Write a note, attach an available supported file, or mention @Sidekick with a specific request.
- Open the response thread when you want to keep follow-up together.
My chat can show unread activity when Sidekick finishes after you move elsewhere in Tabflows. Return to My chat and open the unread conversation to review the result.
Start reusable work from a chat composer
If Clinic Workflows is available, select Workflows and choose a saved workflow. The workflow starts as a Sidekick turn immediately, unless it takes an input; then its starter line goes in the composer for you to finish and send. When it needs more information, Sidekick asks in the conversation; reply in that same thread so the answer stays with the run and its Task.
Saved prompts still place reusable text in the composer for review before sending. Select Saved prompts to search your own saved prompts. Choosing one fills the composer with @Sidekick and the saved instructions. Add the current patient, date, file, Task, or other context, review the wording, then send it.
From the Saved prompts menu, you can create, edit, delete, search, and reorder prompts. Saved prompts belong to the signed-in teammate within that clinic; they are not a shared clinic prompt library.
When My chat is empty, it shows Mission shortcuts and the first saved prompts. Select More saved prompts to open the full list.
What stays private
Only you can see your My chat messages. Switching between My chat and Team does not move or copy messages. If work needs a teammate, an owner, or a completion state, use a Team channel or create and link a Task instead of leaving it in My chat.
If My chat is unavailable
My chat may not be available for every account yet. Continue using the Sidekick page or an appropriate Team channel. If you expect access, contact Tabflows Support.
If a file or Sidekick request fails, confirm the file is supported and available, remove the failed attachment, then retry with a smaller and more specific request. Never assume an unfinished request completed.
