Schedule and repeat messages in My chat

Last checked Oct 27, 2026 against Tabflows v3.10.63

On this page

Schedule a message

  1. Open My chat.
  2. Write the note or @Sidekick request. Scheduled messages cannot include files.
  3. Select the caret beside Send.
  4. Choose Tomorrow, Monday, Every weekday, Every day, or Custom.
  5. For Custom, confirm the name, start date, time, repeat pattern, and displayed time zone.
  6. Select Send (for Custom, select Schedule in the dialog first).

The message is saved in Scheduled instead of sending immediately. A scheduled @Sidekick request starts a new My chat thread when it runs.

Review a scheduled Sidekick result

Return to the thread or linked Task to review what happened. The Task may move through In progress and Waiting, then to Done when the overall work is closed.

A failed or cancelled job appears in the returned run or result information; Failed is not a Task status.

The schedule proves that Tabflows started the request. The returned result shows what happened.

Manage scheduled messages

Open Scheduled in My chat to see active and paused schedules. From a schedule, you can:

  • Run now
  • Pause or resume
  • Edit the message or future timing
  • Delete the schedule

Changes apply to future runs. Tabflows allows up to 20 active scheduled messages for each teammate in a clinic; paused schedules do not count toward that active limit. Schedule names can contain up to 80 characters.

If scheduling is unavailable or fails

Scheduling is account-dependent and appears only in My chat. If the caret is missing, the feature may not be enabled. Remove attached files before scheduling. If a scheduled time looks wrong, confirm the clinic time zone shown in the dialog. If saving fails, review the restored draft and try again.
