Best uses

Use Sidekick to:

  • List your open tasks
  • Search tasks by keyword or patient
  • Review recent comment discussions
  • Create reminders
  • Support patient follow-up workflows

Find and summarize work

For counts, include the time period and who should be included. Sidekick tells you which Tasks it searched. Say “across the clinic” when you mean every user and Task group; otherwise Sidekick may search only Tasks assigned to you. If Sidekick says the result is capped or partial, narrow the date range before treating the count as exact.

Connect the patient first when the request is patient-specific.

Create a clear reminder

Include the action, owner, date, patient when relevant, and the context someone needs to complete the work.

Create a Task for a group

Ask Sidekick to assign the Task to the group by name.

Review the returned Task card to confirm the patient, group, due date, and description. If more than one patient is selected, Sidekick asks which patient to use instead of guessing.

Review what Sidekick creates

When Sidekick suggests a Task, it shows the single best recommendation first.

  1. Review Sidekick’s recommended Task.
  2. Ask Sidekick to change the recommendation or suggest another option.
  3. Confirm the patient, assignee or group, due date, urgency, and description.
  4. Create the Task.

Confirm:

  • The patient is correct.
  • The assignee or group is correct.
  • The due date and urgency match the request.
  • The description contains enough context.
  • Sensitive or unnecessary details are removed.
