Best practices for managing Practice Brain content
On this page
Use clear file names
Choose names that make documents easy to identify.
Keep one clear source of truth
Try to avoid storing multiple competing versions of the same document. If a newer version exists, replace or retire the old one.
Use clean formatting
Documents are easier for both staff and Sidekick to use when they are well structured.
Helpful formatting includes:
- Use descriptive headings.
- Put workflow steps in a numbered list.
- Use bullets for rules and exceptions.
- Use a table for structured prices or comparisons.
- Keep one main topic per source.
Assign ownership
It helps to have a clear owner for important files so someone is responsible for updating them when processes change.
Why these practices matter
Practice Brain performs better when content is current, well organized, and easy to interpret.
