Turn AI scribe visit notes into chart updates and tasks

The situation

An authorized clinic user starts the workflow after a visit note is available in the scribe (Heidi, Freed, or similar). Runs in the authorized clinic user's active browser session and uses the systems the user is already signed into.

When an authorized clinic user starts this workflow from their browser session, Tabflows reads the SOAP note already available in the scribe, pulls the action items hidden in the assessment & plan, and prepares chart updates, refills, referrals, and follow-up tasks for clinic review.

Steps

1. Opens the selected note From the user's active browser session, Tabflows works with the SOAP note the clinic chose to process.
2. Extracts the action items It identifies orders, refills, referrals, and follow-up requests from the assessment & plan, even when buried mid-paragraph.
3. Prepares chart updates in Elation Problem list, medications, and orders get pre-filled in Elation. You review and one-click sign off.
4. Prepares tasks for the team Anything that needs an MA, biller, or front-desk hand is staged as a Tabflows task with the right context attached.
5. Routes for review The prepared work is routed to the right teammate for review and completion.

The outcome

Notes move from scribe output to reviewed chart updates and follow-up tasks without treating Tabflows as an autonomous EHR actor.
