The situation

An authorized clinic user starts the workflow from a lab result available in Quest, Labcorp, or a local lab integration. Runs in the authorized clinic user's active browser session and uses the systems the user is already signed into.

When an authorized clinic user starts lab follow-through from available results, Tabflows compares them against patient history and reference ranges, highlights abnormal values, and prepares the right follow-up — chart note, patient message, or provider task — for review.

Steps

1. Opens the result Tabflows works with the lab result the clinic user selected from the active browser session.
2. Compares against history Trends, reference ranges, and prior abnormalities are checked so context isn't lost.
3. Flags abnormals for triage Anything outside range is highlighted for priority review; routine results are prepared for the chart.
4. Prepares team follow-up Need an MA callback? Provider review? Tabflows stages the right task with the result attached.
5. Drafts the patient message When a Spruce reply is needed, Tabflows pre-writes it in your voice so you can review and complete it.

The outcome

Abnormal results are highlighted with reviewed follow-up tasks and patient-message drafts.
