Your first real day

Run one Playbook end to end on a real clinic day, with Tasks, Team Chat and Sidekick working together.

5 min3 min

You have the pieces now. Tasks hold the work, Team Chat coordinates it, Sidekick finds and drafts, and Practice Brain knows your clinic. A Playbook puts them together for one real clinic situation.

Start with no-show follow-up. It needs no particular system, and it shows the whole loop: each missed visit becomes a Task with an owner, the outreach happens the same day, and nothing depends on someone remembering. Want to practice with us first? Book a live walkthrough.

Topics

  1. Start the day in My Tasks Open Tasks first. My Tasks shows your unfinished work that's due today or overdue, and urgent work may appear right away.
    1. Open Tasks and work through My Tasks.
    2. Open your Favorite filters for anything else you watch, such as a group's Tasks.
    3. Read the comments on each Task for blockers or handoffs.
  2. Turn each follow-up into a Task Callbacks, forms, labs, records and referrals each get a patient-linked Task with one owner.
    1. Create the Task from the patient's page so the patient is linked.
    2. Write the next action, choose an owner, and set Due on.
    3. Log each outreach attempt in Comments, and set Waiting while you wait on the patient.
  3. Agree on a few team habits A dependable Task workflow comes from shared habits, not complicated setup. Agree on a few with your team.
    1. Every Task gets an action-focused description, the right patient, one owner and a useful due date.
    2. Agree on tag names and which group owns which kind of work.
    3. Pick a regular time to review open Tasks.
  4. Close out the day Before you leave, make sure finished work is completed and open work has an owner and a date.
    1. Complete finished work and update Tasks whose plan changed.
    2. Filter by Due on and Status to check nothing due today is still open.
    3. Sort by Completed (recent first) to review what got done.

Do it in Tabflows

At the end of the day, pull up the day's no-shows from your schedule and follow up on each.

  1. Create a Task for each: the patient in Patient, the outreach in Description, an owner in Assigned to, today in Due on.
  2. Select Mark as urgent on any that can't wait, like a missed follow-up on an abnormal result, then Save task.
  3. Ask Sidekick to draft the outreach message for one patient, review it, and send it yourself.
  4. In Team Chat, share the Tasks with Link task, up to three per message, so everyone sees each owner.
  5. Before the day closes, comment contacted, rebooked or escalated on each Task, then mark it done. A voicemail keeps it open for tomorrow.
