> **Summary:** Save a useful filter combination so recurring Task views remain easy to reopen and pin.

---

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Humans create enough Tasks that seeing all of them at once becomes its own problem. A saved filter remembers conditions such as owner, status, patient, urgency, or due date and can reopen that useful list later. The work stays put; only the list being shown changes.*

---

## Quick checks

- Apply every filter you want to keep.
- Use a short name that describes the result.
- Avoid creating near-duplicate saved filters.

---

## Save the filter

1. Open the **Tasks**.
2. Apply filters such as status, assignee, patient, tag, system, urgency, or due date.
3. Select **Save filter** beside the active filter tags.
4. Click **Save filter**. Then a pop-up titled **Save filter to favorites** will appear
5. Review the summary.
6. Enter a name for your filter in the **Filter name** field.
7. Click **Save filter** or press **Enter.**

---

## Reuse the filter

1. Hover over the star icon next to **+** in Tasks to open your **Favorite filters** list
2. Select the saved filter.
3. Pin it if it is used frequently.
4. Use the edit view to delete filters no longer needed.

---

## Tips and Tricks

> - Save filters for common workflows. For example, "*All Open Tasks from Athena"* or *"Urgent Tasks Assigned to Me".*
> - Pinning your most-used filter keeps it one click away
> - Filter combinations can include: who assigned the task, status, system, urgency, task type, tags, who it's assigned to, patient, mentioned users, due date range, and whether to show deleted tasks

---

## Confirm it worked

The saved filter reopens the same conditions and can be pinned for one-click access.
