> **Summary:** When your clinic uses Guava, Sidekick can read the patient information in the linked Guava record so you can ask focused questions about it. Reading is view-only - Sidekick does not change anything in Guava.

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Guava gathers one person’s health information from records, measurements, devices, symptoms, food logs, and other daily evidence. Sidekick can read the available information for the linked patient and answer focused questions without changing Guava. Very large histories may be shortened, because even software can receive more human life than fits in one answer.*

## Getting good answers

Connect the correct Guava account, link the correct patient, and ask focused questions about the information you need. Refresh the source when recent changes are missing, and verify important details in Guava before acting.

## Supported patient information

When available, Sidekick can read:

- Patient summary and health score.
- Labs and results.
- Encounters and visit notes.
- Diagnoses, medications, allergies, vitals, and immunizations.
- Wearables, symptoms, food logs, lifestyle context, and timeline events.
- Documents, care team, and family information.

Availability depends on what exists in the linked Guava record. Results may be limited or summarized when a record is large - ask a narrower question when information is truncated.

> **Good to know:** Guava information reaches Sidekick two different ways, and it explains which questions get truncated.
>
> Lower-volume profile details — **care team**, **family history**, **health scores** — travel inside the patient summary and are usually returned whole.
>
> High-volume timestamped categories — labs, encounters, food logs, timeline events — are read separately and are the ones most likely to be cut short on a large record. If an answer looks incomplete, narrowing *those* is what helps.

---

## Try :

> - *What were this patient’s most recent lab results, and which ones are out of range?*
> - *Summarize this patient’s encounters from the last six months.*
> - *List this patient’s current medications and any recorded allergies.*
> - *What does this patient’s family history show?*

## Check sources and freshness

1. Confirm the linked patient before asking.

2. Ask for a specific category or date range.

3. Review the cited source and timestamp when available.

4. Refresh Guava and try again if recent information is missing.

5. Verify clinical details in Guava before making a decision.

---

## Current boundary

This release verifies reading available Guava patient data. Sidekick does not do Guava messaging, scheduling, fax triage, chart filing, or any other write action - it only reads the record when you ask.
