> **Summary:** Keep UpToDate within the Tabflows workspace for quick access to its native evidence-based clinical reference tools.

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Human clinicians cannot memorize every diagnosis, treatment, and medical study—although examinations occasionally suggest they should. UpToDate is a medical reference they consult while caring for patients. Tabflows keeps that reference one click away; the patient record remains in the clinic’s own system.*

## What UpToDate is

**[UpToDate](https://www.wolterskluwer.com/en/solutions/uptodate/clinical-decision-support)** is an evidence-based clinical decision-support resource with expert-authored recommendations, medical topics, patient content, CME, and optional drug-information products. Clinicians use it alongside the chart when researching diagnosis, treatment, and patient-education questions.

## How Tabflows works with UpToDate

The action below describes Tabflows’ verified support with UpToDate; it is not a list of everything UpToDate can do.

- Open UpToDate in Tabflows — keep the signed-in product one click away in your personal workspace. Because UpToDate is a reference tool rather than a patient-record system, patient linking does not apply.

---

## Common stack systems

- **Core record:** Athena, Elation, Hint Clinical
- **Documentation:** Heidi, Freed, ChartNote
- **Labs:** Quest, Labcorp, Rupa Health

---

## If it doesn’t work

If UpToDate does not open, confirm you are signed in to UpToDate.
