> **Summary:** Carry the selected patient into a ChartNote documentation workflow while keeping final clinical documentation under your control.

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Humans speak during medical visits, then must turn the conversation into a useful record. ChartNote helps draft that record; Tabflows can carry the selected patient into the session and prepare details, while a human reviews the final note. Software remains unlicensed to sign its own homework.*

## What ChartNote is

**[ChartNote](https://chartnote.com/plans)** provides AI scribing, voice dictation, snippets, templates, and structured clinical-documentation assistance. It is designed to speed note creation while the clinic continues to use its existing EHR as the authoritative chart.

---

## How Tabflows works with ChartNote

The actions below describe Tabflows’ verified support with ChartNote; they are not a list of everything ChartNote can do.

- **Open ChartNote in Tabflows** — keep the signed-in product one click away in your personal workspace.
- **Keep the patient or note session in context** — open a supported ChartNote patient or note page so Tabflows can recognize the current context.
- **Prepare the patient for a ChartNote session** — find a patient or prepare supported patient details for review before starting a note session.

---

## Common stack systems

- **Core record:** AkuteHealth, Athena, [Atlas.md](http://Atlas.md), Cerbo, CharmEHR, Elation, Hint Clinical, SigmaMD
- **Communications:** Spruce, Weave
- **Clinical reference:** OpenEvidence, UpToDate

---

## If it doesn’t work

If patient context is missing, reopen a supported ChartNote patient or note page and confirm the intended patient before retrying.

If the correct ChartNote record opens but the native workflow still fails, continue troubleshooting in ChartNote; a saved Tabflows link does not change the system’s own access or workflow rules.
