> **Summary:** Keep Tabflows beside Athena and use Sidekick’s documented schedule workflow from supported pages.

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Athena is software clinics use for medical records, appointments, billing, and communication. Tabflows can keep Athena nearby, recognize the current patient on supported pages, and let Sidekick review the documented appointment schedule information. That narrow schedule workflow does not expose the entire medical record; humans gave one product many jobs, but Tabflows still receives only the ones named here.*

## What Athenahealth / AthenaOne is

[Athenahealth / AthenaOne](https://www.athenahealth.com/solutions/athenaone) is an ambulatory EHR, practice-management, and revenue-cycle suite. Clinics use it for documentation, scheduling, claims, collections, portal access, and patient communication.

## How Tabflows works with Athena

The actions below describe Tabflows’ verified support with Athena; they are not a list of everything Athena can do.

- **Use Tabflows on Athena** — Athena opens in its own browser tab rather than a side tab, with the Tabflows sidebar on its pages.
- **Keep the current patient in context** — open a supported Athena patient or note page so Tabflows can recognize the current patient.
- **Review the Athena schedule with Sidekick** — use the documented schedule workflow to ask focused questions about supported appointment information.

## Common stack systems

- **Communications:** Spruce, Weave
- **Membership:** Hint Core
- **Labs:** Quest, Labcorp
- **Documentation:** Heidi, Freed, ChartNote

## If it doesn’t work

- If patient context is missing, reopen a supported Athena patient or note page and confirm the intended patient before retrying.
- If the correct Athena record opens but the native workflow still fails, continue troubleshooting in Athena; a saved Tabflows link does not change the system’s own access or workflow rules.
