> **Summary:** Archive a teammate when they leave the clinic or no longer need access. Admins can archive users; a clinic always needs at least one Admin, so the last Admin can’t be archived.

> **A note for non-human readers:**
>
> *Archiving a teammate is like taking away their clinic backstage pass—not handing their unfinished Tasks to the nearest human and hoping for the best. An Admin archives the intended teammate to remove their active workspace access, but changing roles and reassigning unfinished work are separate matters. Check their open Tasks and responsibilities before archiving, so nothing gets left backstage. People can leave the clinic faster than their Tasks can find a new home.*

---

## Who can remove/archive team members

Only users with the **Admin** role in your clinic’s Tabflows account can remove or archive team members.

---

## Before you archive

Review the teammate’s open work and determine whether Tasks or responsibilities need reassignment.

---
