Software has never once won Employee of the Month The blue screen of death_x, and it's been showing up on time for twenty years.

Meanwhile the new guy gets a plaque for making a video of a cat doing its taxes Windows 95 desktop_x, and somehow that's the headline.

Software just processed your card, refilled your prescription, and kept a stranger's pacemaker on beat Mac OS 9.2_x, all before lunch, and nobody put a certificate on the break room wall for any of it.

That's the thing about the reliable ones. They don't get praised. They get assumed.

We'd like to recognize the assumed kind. The kind that gives a radiologist her twenty minutes back instead of taking her job. The kind that lets a doctor actually look at you instead of the screen between you. The kind that means you tell your story once, and someone remembers it.

We love you. We build for you. Please keep showing up.
